Victorian Days in Belvidere, NJ
For those of you who do not know what Victorian Days in Belvidere is all about; let me take a minute to explain.
Belvidere Victorian Days is a celebration of Belvidere’s Victorian heritage. With over 200 historical sites, you can spend the day realizing the ambiance of yesteryear. Whether enjoying tea on a verandah or touring one of the historical private residences, Belvidere, New Jersey is a secret waiting to be discovered.
Our guild is fortunate to have space in the center of the town square. When possible our members dress in Victorian era clothing. We set up our hand quilting rack and demonstrate the art of hand quilting. We are also given the opportunity to display our guild raffle quilt and sell raffle tickets.
Victorian Days is a two day event; we break the schedule down into 1 hour slots. We like to have at least two members for each slot for selling the raffle changes.
Ladies that hand quilt attend and sit at the guild’s quilting frame and do what they do best, hand quilt. People passing by love to watch the art of hand quilting.
This is a fun relaxing weekend; please consider joining us in the future.

2008 Victorian Days
On the left side of this page is a link to the schedule for working at Victorian Days. If you can help out, email me and I will add your name to the list.
It is nice to have a few people working at one time, so others can take a little break, walk around or talk to people that stop at our booth.
We will have a canopy for you to sit under. Please bring your own chairs.
We will only be selling tickets for our raffle quilt. I mentioned at the meeting that members could sell items if the wanted to, that will not be possible this year.
Barbara Contini and Jane Schreffler offered to take the lead as I will be out of town that weekend. Rosemarie Greg will be delivering and helping to set up our quilt rack and raffle quilt. Nancy Murphy will be bring our things home on Sunday. You are welcome to bring some handwork to work on while you are at our booth.
I will keep you up dated as we get closer to September, but for now please take a look at the schedule and see if you can help out.
Thank you,
Sharon Kubich
